Bu tez çalışmasında, 316 L tipi paslanmaz ve 4340 tipi ıslah çeliği çifti difüzyon kaynağı tekniği kullanılarak birleştirilmiş ve birleşme bölgesi mikroyapısı ve mekanik özellikleri üzerine araştırma yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla birleştirilecek yüzeyler zımparalama ve alkol kullanılarak temizleme işlemi sonrasında 10 MPa basınç altında 900-1000-1100 oC'lik sıcaklıklar ve 60-120 dakika süre parametreleri kullanılarak difüzyon kaynağı yapılmıştır. Kaynak yapılan numunelerin birleşme bölgesi kesiti numune hazırlama aşaması sonrasında dağlama işleminden geçirilerek mikroyapı ve mikrosertlik analizleri için hazır hale getirilmiştir. Mikroyapı ve birleşme bölgesi ara yüzey incelemeleri amacıyla optik mikroskobi, görüntü analiz sistemi, SEM ve EDX analizi yapılmıştır. Aynı zamanda, difüzyon çifti ara bölge mikrosertlik ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Böylece 316 L tipi paslanmaz ve 4340 tipi ıslah çeliği çiftinin optimum difüzyon kaynak parametersi ve difüzyon ara yüzey mikroyapı özelliklerinin belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Yapılan bir dizi deneyler neticesinde 900 oC'lik sıcaklık ve 60 dakika sürede birleştirilen numunenin ara yüzeyinde yoğun mikro boşluk ve oksit oluşumu meydana gelmiştir. Diğer parametrelerde difüzyon ara yüzey fazıyla birlikte paslanmaz çelik ve 4340 çeliği tarafında karşılıklı C, Cr ve Ni elementi difüzyonuyla birlikte mikroyapı farklıklıkları ortaya çıkmıştır.
In this thesis study, 316 L type stainless and 4340 type treatment steel pairs were combined using diffusion welding technique and research was done on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the junction zone. For this purpose, the surfaces to be joined were sanded and after cleaning using alcohol, diffusion welding was performed under 10 MPa pressure using 900-1000-1100 oC temperatures and 60- 120 minutes time parameters. The cross section of the junction of the welded samples was etched after the sample preparation stage and made ready for microstructure and microhardness analysis. Optical microscopy, image analysis system, SEM and EDX analysis were performed for microstructure and junctional interface examinations. At the same time, diffusion pair intermediate region microhardness measurements were performed. Thus, it is aimed to determine the optimum diffusion source parameter and diffusion interface microstructure properties of 316 L type stainless steel and 4340 type tempering steel pair. As a result of a series of experiments, dense micro-voids and oxide formation occurred at the interface of the sample combined at a temperature of 900 oC and in 60 minutes. In other parameters, microstructural differences arose with the diffusion of C, Cr and Ni elements on the sides of non-corrosive steel and 4340 steel with diffusion interface phase.
